Sorem is built privacy-first. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect, how we use it, and the commitments we make to you.

What we collect

While Sorem is in private beta, the only personal data we collect is the email address you give us to join the waitlist. When the app launches, it will also hold the to-dos, money entries and reminders you create — that content belongs to you.

How we use it

Your waitlist email is used to send you one note when Sorem is ready, plus occasional product updates you can opt out of at any time.
The content you create in the app is used only to provide the app to you — to show your lists, numbers and reminders, and to power the in-app assistant on your behalf.

What we never do

We never sell your data.
We never use your content to train anyone else's AI model.
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of trusted providers (for example, email delivery and hosting) who process data on our behalf, under contract, and only to help us run Sorem.

To understand how this website is used and improve it, we use Microsoft Clarity, which captures anonymised usage data such as how pages are scrolled and clicked. Clarity sets cookies and may process this data in line with Microsoft's privacy statement. It does not see the content you create in the app.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from emails at any time, and you can ask us to delete the data we hold about you by writing to privacy@heysorem.com.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
